Maria Jesús Gómez del Castillo

I have been teaching Spanish as a second language to adults, along with numerous aspects related to the Spanish culture, since I completed my degree in Spanish Philology at the University of Valencia in 1987. My work experience is not limited, however, to the classroom, as I have occupied posts in which organizational skills have been essential. In order to cater to my students’ needs, and to help them get the best out of their learning experience, I have participated actively in the course syllabus designs, extra-curricular activities, housing arrangements and tutorials.

In 1988 I founded the Spanish School , ” El Quijote” in Valencia and from 1992 to 2008 I have been Spanish teacher at the University of Alicante.

I have worked on syllabus design and on the organization of intercultural activity programs of Spanish for wine and tourism in Spanish.
